Batters With Most 50+ Scores in T20Is

In the fast-paced world of T20 International cricket, scoring big runs consistently is a sign of a true master. It’s not easy to rack up 50 or more runs in a single innings, considering the format demands quick thinking, lightning reflexes, and powerful strokes. These batsmen not only showcase exceptional skills but also play a crucial role in their team’s success.

  1. Babar Azam

Leading the charge is Pakistan’s star player Babar Azam, who sits at the top of the pile with a whopping 39 scores of 50 or more in just 110 innings! He boasts a mind-blowing strike rate of nearly 130 and has even smashed three centuries in T20 Internationals.

  1. Virat Kohli

Following close behind is India’s very own run machine, Virat Kohli. With 38 scores of 50+, Kohli isn’t far behind Azam. He holds the record for the most runs scored in T20I history, amassing over 4,000 runs at an impressive average of over 51. There’s no doubt Kohli is a force to be reckoned with.

  1. Rohit Sharma

Another Indian batsman makes the list: Rohit Sharma, the team’s current captain. Sharma takes the third spot with 34 scores of 50+. Interestingly, he holds the record for the most T20I matches played and has even slammed a staggering five centuries! Despite a slightly lower average compared to Kohli, his strike rate is nearly 140, making him a dangerous batsman nonetheless.

  1. Mohammad Rizwan

Pakistan has another representative on the list: Mohammad Rizwan. This right-handed batsman, at the young age of 31, has already secured 29 scores of 50+. With a healthy average of over 50 and a strike rate of nearly 128, Rizwan is proving to be a valuable asset to the Pakistani team.

  1. David Warner

Rounding out the top 5 is Australia’s David Warner. The left-handed batsman might have slightly fewer 50+ scores (27) compared to others on the list, but his strike rate is the highest at a staggering 142.  Warner is known for his explosive batting style and has been a constant threat to opposition bowlers throughout his career.

These batsmen have not only entertained fans with their powerful hitting but have also played a pivotal role in shaping the history of T20 cricket. Their consistent performances and ability to score big under pressure make them true legends of the game.
