This achievement puts him ahead of cricketing legend Virat Kohli, who previously held the record. Gill, at just 24 years and 215 days old, surpassed Kohli’s record set at 26 years and 186 days.
But that’s not all! Gill also became the fourth-fastest player overall to reach the 3,000-run mark in the IPL, taking only 94 innings. This puts him in the company of superstars like Chris Gayle and KL Rahul.
