MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni, the well-known former captain of the Indian cricket team, has always been a star behind the wickets. Throughout his IPL career, he’s made the most dismissals at an impressive 180! That includes 138 catches and 42 stumpings. Interestingly, Dhoni has played as the main wicketkeeper for his team, CSK, since the very beginning of the IPL in 2008. He’s been a key player for their success, both as their leader and their wicketkeeper.

 

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik is a very experienced wicketkeeper in the IPL.  Having played a whopping 242 games behind the wickets, he’s made a total of 169 dismissals which is very impressive. That includes 133 catches and 36 stumpings, and remarkably he holds the record for the second-most catches by a wicketkeeper in IPL history!  Sounds like a valuable player to have on any team.

 

Wriddhiman Saha

Wriddhiman Saha is known for his wicketkeeping skills not just internationally but also in the IPL. He’s racked up a total of 106 dismissals throughout his IPL career, which includes 82 catches and 24 stumpings. That’s a pretty impressive record!

 

Robin Uthappa

Robin Uthappa might not be the main wicketkeeper on his teams, but he’s still done really well with the gloves.  He’s made a total of 90 dismissals throughout his IPL career, which includes 58 catches and 32 stumpings. That’s a strong showing!

 

Parthiv Patel

Despite not being a regular on one team, Parthiv Patel has played for a total of 6 different teams throughout his IPL career.  Over the years, he’s still managed to make a significant contribution with 81 dismissals behind the wicket, including 65 catches and 16 stumpings.
