Warm-up fixtures announced for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024

Get ready for some exciting cricket action! The warm-up matches for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 are set to take place between May 27th and June 1st. This is your chance to see your favorite teams in action before the main event kicks off.

The matches will be played across the United States and Trinidad and Tobago. Venues include the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, and iconic grounds like Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.

A total of 17 teams will be participating in these warm-up matches. This includes South Africa, who will be playing an internal practice game amongst themselves. Unlike official T20 matches, these warm-up games will allow teams to experiment with their strategies and give playing time to all members of their 15-player squads.  There’s a change from the previous World Cup cycle too. Teams now have the flexibility to choose up to two warm-up matches, depending on when they arrive for the tournament.

Here’s some good news for fans! The match between the West Indies and Australia on May 30th at Queen’s Park Oval will be open to the public! Tickets are available online at tickets.t20worldcup.com or you can purchase them at the National Cricket Centre and Queen’s Park Oval box offices starting May 16th.
