Kane Williamson Smashes Records with Fastest 32nd Test Century!

New Zealand’s batting hero, Kane Williamson, just made history again! During the second Test against South Africa, he became the fastest player ever to score 32 Test centuries. That’s right, he reached this amazing milestone in just 172 innings, beating the previous record by Australian star Steve Smith.

Williamson reached this milestone during Day 4 of the second Test against South Africa at Seddon Park in Hamilton on February 16. New Zealand won by 7 wickets against South Africa. Williamson wasn’t just quick, he was unstoppable! His hundred in 203 balls on Day 2 led New Zealand’s chase against South Africa, putting their victory a bit near their reach. This was his 3rd hundred in the last 4 innings, proving he’s a major obstacle for the Proteas.

He is the only 5th New Zealander to score twin hundreds in a Test match just this series! And with this latest achievement, he joins cricket legends like Ricky Ponting and Sachin Tendulkar, who took longer to reach 32 centuries.

Williamson hit his century in style, reaching the mark in the 74th over by the South African bowler Shaun von Berg. This makes him the highest scorer of Test centuries on home soil for New Zealand, with an impressive 19!

He also tied Jacques Kallis’s record of six centuries in a series between New Zealand and South Africa. Together with Steve Smith, they lead the pack of active cricketers with the most Test centuries (32!). England’s Joe Root follows closely with 30, while India’s Virat Kohli sits at 29.

Kane Williamson’s incredible performance once again shows why he’s one of the best batsmen in the world.
